Meet Dr. Scott & Dr. Brad

Dr. Scott Theurer & Dr. Brad Theurer - Logan, UT
Dr. Scott grew up in North Logan, graduated from Sky View High School, then Utah State University with a degree in biology. He completed his dental training at the Washington University School of Dental Medicine. He married the former, Teresa Lindley, from Smithfield. They have one daughter and three sons, their older two children are married to dentists and their younger two sons - one is a dentist (Dr. Brad) and the other not planning to be a dentist nor married to one - he's a petroleum engineer. Dr. Scott and his wife have 18 beautiful grandchildren.
Dr. Scott has been involved in the leadership of the Utah Dental Association for 11 years, serving as the UDA President in 2012-13. He served 4 years on the American Dental Association Council (ADA) on Dental Practice and is currently an ADA Delegate representing Utah. He was a member of the Bridgerland Tech Board of Directors for 13 years, then appointed to the Utah College of Applied Technology Board of Trustees from 2016-2020, and appointed to the Utah Board of Higher Education, serving from 2020-23. Dr. Scott also founded the Bear River Head Start Fluoride Varnish program in 2006 which continues to be coordinated by the LoganSmiles office team.
Dr. Brad was born and raised in Logan, Utah, and graduated from Logan High School. He then spent two years as an LDS missionary in Indonesia. He completed a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at Utah State University with a minor in chemistry.
Dr. Brad attended dental school at the Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, whose faculty reputation provided a top tier dental education. He trained in a newly completed clinic with many of the newest technologies available, including 3D digital dentistry. During this training and rotations within the School of Dentistry, he was provided with opportunities to learn directly from dental specialists and to consult and treatment plan patient care with them. He graduated with a distinction in teaching. Dr. Brad is able to provide all general dental treatment including cosmetic dentistry, implant placement and restoration, surgical extractions, and pre-prosthetic surgeries. He is also certified to provide clear aligner orthodontic treatment for patients.
While at USU, Dr. Brad played tight end for the football team and met his wife, Nicole, a USU volleyball player. He and Nicole are excited to be back in Cache Valley with their four children: Jaxon, Sara, Riggs, & Jo. With his free time, Dr. Brad loves spending time with his family and being a father to his children. He also enjoys watching sports, cooking, and yard work. His favorite part of dentistry is restoring people's smiles and seeing patient's enthusiasm after treatment.
